In today’s lesson we looked at a clip 3 times and had to identify the shot type and movement. Included in the clip were close ups (medium and extreme), establishing shots (pan), mid shots, long shots (extreme), a two shot, a low angle and an over the shoulder following the 180° rule. This was to help with the task then given.
Involving filming a character opening a door, crossing a room and sitting down in a chair opposite another character, with whom he/she then exchanges a couple of lines of dialogue → This should clearly demonstrate
–Match on action
–Shot reverse shot
We have to produce a script, storyboard and edit our own version of the film we have made within our group.
We then watched 2 clips based around this task and pointed out when the 3 shots were shown.
